Assets for navigating your mental health journey

Mental Health Education For South Asians

Resources and training surrounding mental health are often inaccessible or less relevant to minority communities. In collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin’s Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC), we have developed a suicide prevention training tailored to South Asian students.

This training includes information surrounding identifying signs and symptoms, initiating conversations, and seeking care.

We are currently developing and researching further methods to bolster this training. If you are interested in this work, reach out to us!

Giveback Initative

Access to care and its associated cost are often the biggest barriers against receiving mental healthcare in the United States. Peer support is a leading form of care with a low barrier to entry. The Giveback Initiative is a cooperative effort between various youth organizations to make professional peer support more accessible for teens and young adults.

In partnership with Peers.net, we are distributing free peer support sessions to make peer support accessible to all youth. If you are interested in a session, fill out the form below!

Kevin Love Fund

The Kevin Love Fund was established to promote improved mental and physical health, especially among youth. They focus on education and advocacy to dismantle stigma surrounding mental health so people have the support and tools they need to lead healthier lives. In partnership with the Kevin Love Fund, we are providing mental health education to youth in high schools and South Asian religious communities.

The training is designed by leading educators and experts to encourage students to feel heard, express their emotions, and be vulnerable. Contact us to request a training near you!
